Edmonton, AB (PRWEB) August 9, 2008 -- On August 22-24, 2008, at University of Alberta Conference Centre, 100 teens (and their parents) will start businesses, take them public in a mock stock market and discover the amazing opportunities of real estate. Using games, activities, role-playing and more, this experiential event will give youth financial information and tools they can use immediately. Money RULES! Where Teens Have a Wealth of Fun, is a brand new financial education event inspired by the lack of financial education in the classroom and prompted by demand from parents everywhere. Kim Deep, founder of Kidz Make Cents and children's author, will bring youth and parents together to explore the ins and outs of creating financial freedom using the three pillars of wealth: business, real estate and the stock market. Students ages 13 - 17 will learn the skills they need to become great leaders, attain their goals and develop passive income streams so they can work because they want to, not because they have to. They will learn that having more money than they need allows them to do a whole lot of good in the world. "We want to help give youth a 'hand up' and not a 'hand out'," says Deep.
